Just completed my trip to Kerala and I interacted with lot of Kerala Tour Operators to plan my trip and here is my take .

There is a bunch of good tour operators in Kerala and it is always better to take a package directly from a local tour operator in Kerala who will be able to give a better price than big operators like Cox & Kings/ Kesari or SOTC if you want a private tour or kerala honeymoon.

My first stop while I was deciding on Kerala  holiday was TripAdvisor page on  Activities in Kochi (Cochin)  that had a great collection of good tour operators. I did not want to go for any tour operator that was not reviewed here

There were a bunch of sites like travel triangle, holiday IQ etc which aggregates the requests from various operators, but few of my friends who booked packages said that when there were complaints in the trip they took from these aggregator providers neither the aggregator nor the tour operator took ownership and resolved the complaint because of which I never even tried using them as I wanted my honeymoon to be special.

Palmland Tours @ http://www.palmlandtours.net/ - I considered them as I wanted to include Thrissur , Palakkad and Parambikkulam in my trip. Their service was also good, but I dropped the plan later to visit this places due to paucity of time


Intersight @ www.keralaholidays.com - The biggest provider in Kerala from what I understand after speaking to them and the agent in Delhi. Rates are very competitive but there are issues with customer service and the service is not personalised to my liking. Responses were not prompt
